<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Quincy Kroc Center invites the community to Chalkfest, a family-friendly chalk art event taking place on Friday, June 5th, from 5-7pm. The event is open to the public and is part of the Kroc Center&#8217;s 15th Anniversary celebration, marking 15 years of serving and engaging the Quincy community through programs, events, and outreach.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Chalkfest will turn the Kroc Center parking lot into a colorful space where participants of all ages can claim a chalk square and create something of their own. Whether simple or detailed, each design adds to a shared display of creativity across the community.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This event is made possible in partnership with Arts Quincy, with grant funding supporting expanded access to hands-on experiences in Quincy. The collaboration reflects a shared goal of strengthening the community through creative opportunities. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Throughout the evening, guests can explore themed areas and take part in chalk art contests, including Most Colorful, Best Family Collaboration, Messiest Masterpiece, and Best Overall Design. Members receive one free chalk square, with additional squares available for purchase, while nonmembers may participate for $15 per square, which includes supplies. </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If weather conditions require, Chalkfest will move indoors to ensure the event can continue. Registration is currently open online or by calling the Kroc Center Welcome Desk at 217-222-5762. </p>
